I know that grief is unbearable.
I’ve grieved. I’ve witnessed those I love grieving. There is nothing harder to imagine than saying goodbye to someone we love. Even when our faith is strong and if we believe that whatever is after this earthbound time is glorious, it’s not easy to say goodbye. I will honour the person you love. I will take the time to speak to your family and friends so that we can collaborate to share the stories that made this life so special.
I also know that sometimes, it’s complicated. I am always mindful of the lives left behind and how a story is told, although all lives deserve to be honoured at the end, sometimes there needs to be gentleness for those left behind. Let’s figure that out together.
